Gophers thwart Hoosiers’ bid for 10-straight wins

The IU women’s basketball team couldn’t keep its winning ways rolling as it fell to Minnesota 70-62 on Thursday in Minneapolis.

The loss is the first for the Hoosiers since the third game of the season.

The Hoosiers won their first three conference games during winter break to extend their win streak to nine games.

On Thursday, senior forward Whitney Thomas led all scorers with 22 points and added 10 rebounds for her league-leading 28th career double-double.
