Tickets on sale Friday for Dave Matthews in Indy

Dave Matthews Band concert tickets will be on sale at 9 a.m. on Friday for its performance at the Verizon Wireless Music Center in Noblesville, Ind. this summer.

The summer tour will begin on May 27. The band will play in Indiana July 31 and August 1, and tickets for both shows will be available for purchase Friday.

The band originally formed in Charlottesville, Va., early in 1991. Dave Matthews Band’s sixth album, set to release on June 2 and titled “Big Whiskey and the Groogrux King,” is in the works.

Tickets will be sold at only at the Taco Bell Box Office at the Verizon Wireless Music Center, by phone at 877-598-8703 or at www.livenation.com. Prices are $40 for lawn seats and $75 for pavilion seats.

For concert-goers interested in camping out for the show, the Verizon Wireless Music Center Campgrounds will open at noon on July 30. Camping for one night will be $60 per vehicle. Two nights will cost $70 per vehicle, and three nights will cost $80 per vehicle.
