INDIANAPOLIS – Indiana expects to receive an initial shipment of more than 800,000 doses of swine flu vaccine in mid-October with additional dosages expected to arrive weekly, state officials have told local health officers.
Pregnant women and K-12 students and staff in schools are among the priority groups to receive the vaccines, which likely will need to be administered twice to be effective.
