SAN FRANCISCO -- This year’s Outside Lands Music & Arts Festival, which takes place over a three-day period in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park, will be streamed live on YouTube, marking its first live music festival webcast.
The festival will take place from Friday to Sunday.
Scheduled to perform are Dave Matthews Band, Cage the Elephant, Jason Mraz, Silversun Pickups and others.
"Music and many of the artists performing at Outside Lands have always found a home and audience on YouTube," said Ross Hoffman of YouTube Strategic Partnerships in a press release for the festival. "We're thrilled to bring this incredible live music festival to everyone in our community who won't be there in person to experience the show.”
YouTube users will be able to view an archive of performances and festival highlights through YouTube’s Outside Lands channel.
