IU Athletics looking for student section T-shirt designs

IU Athletics has opened up its competition for crafting the IU Student Section T-shirt for the 2009 men's basketball season.

Entries will be accepted through Sept. 30, with entry available to all fans, not just students.

Voting will open on Oct. 2 and run through Oct. 16, when finalists will be selected.

Here are the rules for the competition, according to IU Athletics:

Please keep dimensions between: 12"x12"
- Final graphics will be screen printed
- You may use up to three ink colors
- All designs must be intended for the front of the T-shirt
- Please keep in mind that detailed graphics may not print well screen printed
- The graphics must be 100% your work
- Racist, vulgar, or offensive images/text will not be allowed
- Indiana Athletics will own the rights to the winning design
- Acceptable file formats: Illustrator eps
- All fonts must be converted to outlines
- Entries must be emailed to jowaters@indiana.edu no later than Sept. 30, 2009
- We will notify you if your selection is chosen as a finalist.
