Two local bands will open the official 2009 IU Homecoming show.
The Clayton Anderson Band and New Old Cavalry, both based in
Bloomington, will perform before country artist Chris Cagle on Oct. 13.
“Having local artists will bring the community and university a
lot closer,” said Jason Apple from ASB Enterprises. The company is sponsoring
the concert with help from the IU Student Alumni Association.
Doors for the concert will open at 6 p.m. and the opening performances
will begin around 6:15 p.m. Cagle will take the stage at 6:45 p.m.,
Apple said.
The concert will take place at the tailgating fields in Hoosier
Village just west of the DeVault Alumni Center. Tickets are $25 and can be
purchased at asb-enterprises.com or by calling 812-287-2896.
