Christina Loukas was inducted into the Chicagoland Hall of Fame only four years removed from her All-American prep career.
The Deerfield High School graduate and Riverwoods, Ill., native impressed many with her 2008 performances on the Olympic team, where she finished first in the 3-meter springboard. She also earned All-American honors in every year of her IU career en route to gaining the title a total of eight times.
But Loukas was even more prolific as a high schooler.
She won three straight Illinois high school state diving titles from 2001 to 2003 and finished second as a freshman.
In all three of her championship years, Loukas was an All-American. She also placed seventh in the 2004 U.S. Senior National Championships.
The two-time USA diving national champion is now prepping for the 2012 Olympics.
