Renowned information technology author to speak at IUPUI today

Internationally renowned author Don Tapscott will speak at 4 p.m. today at IUPUI on the impact of information technology on business strategy, education and culture.

His most recent best-selling book, “Growing Up Digital: How the Net Generation Is Changing the World,” explores the influence of Generation Y within education, business matters and  daily media relations on social networks such as Facebook and Twitter.

Tapscott is scheduled to present his talk, “The Net Generation and the Reinvention of the University,” at the IUPUI Campus Center at 420 University Blvd. in Indianapolis as part of the IU Statewide IT Conference. His presentation is open to the public.
