Varsity club prepares for men's basketball "tip-off" pep rally

While last Friday’s Hoosier Hysteria marked the start of official practices for the IU men’s basketball team, the team will “tip off” the 2009-10 campaign with a pep rally  at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 29.

The event will be held in Henke Hall of Champions, located inside Memorial Stadium’s new North End Zone facility.

IU coach Tom Crean and current players will speak during the event, which also will include a virtual tour of the Basketball Development Center among other things.
