The Hoosiers lost 69-66 to George Mason on Sunday, in a game that saw lead changes and ties throughout the game.
IU will leave Puerto Rico winless in its three games.
The Hoosiers had a one-point lead at halftime, but couldn’t sustain its advantage and lost when a 3-pointer from Cam Long made score 68-65.
Both teams would spend time at the free-throw line before the final buzzer sounded.
Freshman guard Maurice Creek was the team’s leading scorer with 15 points. He was followed by sophomore guard Verdell Jones who scored 13. Freshman forward Christian Watford also had 10 points and eight rebounds.
