BPP’s Mini Play Festival accepting submissions until Wednesday

The Bloomington Playwrights Project will be organizing its 26th Annual Mini Play Festival, set to take place from March 8 to 11.

The company will be accepting original 10-minute play submissions from students grades 3 through 12 until Wednesday under the theme “Engaging the Environment.” Winning plays will receive cash prizes and be notified via visits to classrooms.

These plays are alos to be used in the Mini Play Camp, a youth-directed production workshop that helps students prepare for the festival. The Mini Play Camp takes place on Saturdays from Jan. 16 to March 6, 2010. Participation costs are $120.
