Students in the IU Department of Theatre and Drama will perform in “Farewell to a Cannibal Rage” at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Wells-Metz Theatre. Admission for the performance is free.
The play was written and directed by Visiting Visionary Scholar Femi Osofisan, a Nigerian playwright. Students auditioned for OSofisan’s second eight-week course, which concludes with Wednesday’s performance.
The comedic play is inspired by “Romeo and Juliet,” according to a press release.
