WFIU will air a special interview with NPR President and CEO Vivian Schiller at 7 p.m. Sunday, December 13 as part of their Profiles Program.
According to a press release, Schiller will discuss the transition she made from her first job as an interpreter in Russia to her career in the media, as well as the future of NPR.
Schiller first worked at the New York Times as the Senior Vice President and General Manager of the NYTimes.com before joining NRP. Schiller became the President of NRP on January 5, 2009.
The interview was conducted by Mike Conway, IU School of Journalism assistant professor. Audio of the interview will be available online starting Monday, December 14 at wfiu.org.
