Cleveland Orchestra Strike resolved

Residency still postponed, date unknown

The Cleveland Orchestra strike, which postponed the orchestra's four-day residency at IU, has been resolved.

The musicians of the orchestra and their management settled a dispute over pay cuts and other financial problems amid the economic recession.

Although the strike is now over, the Cleveland Orchestra residency is still on hold, and it is unclear whether the show Wednesday at the IU Auditorium will be performed.
