The Cleveland Orchestra will honor a promise to reschedule their performance when they take the stage 8 p.m. Jan. 25, 2011.
The orchestra’s original concert, scheduled for Jan. 20, was postponed due to a musicians strike. The group was meant to perform as part of a four-day residency in partnership with the Jacobs School of Music.
Tickets for the original performance will be honored for the rescheduled date, while additional tickets can be ordered when subscriptions for the Auditorium’s 2010-2011 season go on sale April 25.
Refunds will be available for those who are unable to attend the rescheduled date. The refunds will be given where the tickets were originally purchased and must be made before May 1.
The orchestra, under the direction of Franz Welser-Möst, perform around the world and have residencies at campuses across the country. For more information, visit iuauditorium.com
