Women’s basketball releases schedule

The IU women’s basketball team announced its schedule for the 2010-2011 season Monday.

The Hoosiers have 16 home games, including a Dec. 5 contest with Nebraska in the Big Ten/Big 12 Challenge, the team’s conference opener against Northwestern on Dec. 30, a bout with in-state rival Purdue on Jan. 9 and the home finale against Iowa on Feb. 27.

Notable away games include a non-conference clash with perennial NCAA Tournament participant Georgia on Nov. 21 and a Jan. 5 trip to Columbus to meet defending Big Ten champion Ohio State.
