Todd Leary, a former IU basketball player and radio broadcaster for Hoosier basketball games, appeared in court Thursday facing charges of theft and burglary.
Leary, who currently faces up to three years in prison for a mortgage fraud scheme, was arrested Wednesday after a five-month investigation.
Leary paid two men to move appliances out of foreclosed homes,according to a probable cause affidavit, Leary then sold them to an appliance store in Indianapolis.
A Hamilton County judge entered a not guilty plea for the 39-year-old Leary on burglary and theft charges, according to the Associated Press report.
Leary was arrested at Assembly Hall in February on the fraud charges as he arrived to broadcast the IU-Purdue basketball game.
