Kokomo woman featured on A&E television series

A Kokomo woman was featured on the A&E television series “ Hoarders” Monday.

Cats, both living and dead, were found inside her home. “Hoarders” spent three days taping the episode in July, but family members spent the following two weeks cleaning, ripping out the carpet and disinfecting the rest of the home.

The 23 surviving cats were taken to Kokomo Humane Society shelter.

Many of them were adopted to individuals or rescue organizations. Four of the cats were pregnant, but only two liters had surviving kittens, which will soon be available for adoption. Call 765-452-6224 for more information on adopting the kittens.
