Men's soccer defeats Massachusetts, 2-1

The IU men’s soccer team defeated Massachusetts, 2-1, Sunday in Amherst, Mass.
Junior forward Will Bruin put the Hoosiers (2-3) on the scoreboard in the 51st minute.

The goal was Bruin’s fifth of the season.

The Minutemen (1-2-2) answered shortly afterward with a goal by Hellah Sidibe at 55:42.

It didn’t take IU long to get back on top. Senior midfielder Andy Adlard scored his fourth goal of the season in the 64th minute to give the Hoosiers a 2-1 lead they would not relinquish. The game-winning score was Adlard’s third of 2010 and the 10th of his career.
