Passion Pit to make October stop at IU Auditorium

Passion Pit, an American Second Wave synthpop band, has been added to this season’s IU Auditorium lineup.

The group will perform at 8 p.m. Oct. 23. The concert is part of the Campus Consciousness Tour, a half rock, half environmental campaign.

Passion Pit, which formed in 2007, began as a one-man dorm room project and turned into a five-member band that bangs on keyboards, drums, bass and synthesizers.

Pre-sale tickets for IU Bloomington students will go on sale at 10 a.m. Sept. 9. for $33 at the IU Auditorium box office and IUauditorium.com. Bursar billing is available for IUB students.

Tickets for the general public will be available at 10 a.m. Sept. 10 for $38 at the IU Auditorium box office, IUauditorium.com and through Ticketmaster.com.
