Women’s basketball player involved in crash

An IU women’s basketball player was involved in a car accident Friday but was not harmed.

Junior forward Danilsa Andujar was a passenger in a Ford Explorer that crashed with a Toyota Avalon at the intersection of First Street and College Avenue. Both drivers claimed to police they had green lights.

Andujar emerged as a key contributor for the Hoosiers as a sophomore during the 2009-10 season, starting 16 games and earning 4.2 rebounds per contest.
