Boxcar Books start off holidays with Naughty or Nice benefit

No matter if you haven’t been on your best behavior this year, Boxcar Books and the Midwest Pages to Prisoners Project are having a Naughty or Nice benefit at The Bluebird Nightclub.

The doors will open at 9 p.m. on Dec. 17 with a $5 admission. DJs like Annaphalactic Funk, Dumptruck Molly and others begin at 9:30 p.m. and will be playing throughout the night.

The benefit will also feature a photobooth for partygoers to visit and to take a picture with Santa and Mrs. Claus for $1. The Bloomington Burlesque Brigade will headline the night with a half-hour performance.

Boxcar Books in affiliation with Midwest Pages to Prisoners, through an all-volunteer effort, is working to advance social justice and encourage self-education among prisoners.
