IU receiver Belcher will return for senior season

IU wide receiver Damarlo Belcher will return to the Hoosiers for his senior season, a source with knowledge of the situation said.

The source said Belcher was estimated to go in a “good round” after sending in his papers for the NFL Draft. Belcher will return, however, because of his desire to work with the “great staff” coach Kevin Wilson has put together, according to the source.

Wilson hired former Boise State wide receivers coach and assistant coach Brent Pease to be his offensive coordinator yesterday.

Belcher led the Big Ten in receptions last season with 78. He was fifth in the conference with 832 yards receiving.
