Hoosier Burn Camp offers victims support, chance to be just one of the kids

The Hoosier Burn Camp, founded in 1997, is run by Executive Director Mark Koopman.

HBC provides children ages 8-18 who have experienced injuries from burns an opportunity to connect with one another, to build self-esteem and to have positive role models who have experienced similar burn injuries.

Programs take place throughout the year and can involve trips to zoos, baseball games or campgrounds.

By donation and volunteer support, these activities are provided at no cost to the families of the campers.
