COLUMBUS, Ohio --- Freshman DeShaun Thomas scored 22 points, two points less than his career high, and No. 2 Ohio State cruised past IU 82-61 on Sunday at Value City Arena.
IU kept the game close for only a few minutes, but a 17-2 Ohio State run midway through the first half ended any chance the Hoosiers had for an upset.
The Hoosiers struggled from the field, shooting 20-for-52 on the game. In particular, sophomore Jordan Hulls had a rough outing, finishing 1-for-9.
Junior Verdell Jones was the only Hoosier in double figures with 14 points.
