No 'dead space' in this game

deadspace2

The original “Dead Space” put you in the role of resource miner Isaac Clarke, a man who had to face a terrifying nightmare aboard the USG Ishimura. “Dead Space 2” picks up right after the events of the first one. Isaac re-encounters the same nightmare, which comes in the form of deadly mutated humans called Necromorphs who have overtaken a city called The Sprawl.

Necromorphs are not typical zombies but genuine monsters that would make the bogeyman afraid to sleep at night. The game’s mechanics stay the same as the first, with the player having to strategically dismember the Necromorphs’ limbs using mining tools, making players feel like they’re fighting for their lives at every encounter.

Even when severing body parts left and right, there are still a number of different Necromorphs, which makes the game a much more varied experience compared to the first one.

“Dead Space 2” also has an overall more cinematic atmosphere with creepy lighting and a haunting soundtrack to keep your heart racing. The only gripe with the game is its multiplayer mode, which has a difficult learning curve and feels more tacked-on than a true fleshed-out multiplayer experience should.
