Sarah Silverman to let loose at IU Auditorium for first book tour

IU’s Union Board will present comedian and actress Sarah Silverman at 7 p.m. March 24 at the IU Auditorium.

The show will be a part of Silverman’s national book tour to promote her new book, “The Bedwetter.”

Tickets are $22 for students and $34 for the general public. 

Silverman, who began as a writer and occasional cast member on “Saturday Night Live,” was the star of her offbeat comedy TV series, “The Sarah Silverman Program,” which was canceled in 2010.

She has also starred in feature films including “Something about Mary” and “School of Rock.”

She has had HBO comedy specials, and her one-woman show “Jesus is Magic” became a film in 2005. The Bedwetter” is Silverman’s first book effort.

Tickets will be available at 10 a.m.  Friday at the IU Auditorium box office, which are eligible for Bursar billing. Tickets can also be purchased at Ticketmaster.com or any Ticketmaster outlet.
