Sarah Silverman to perform at IU Auditorium

IU’s Union Board will present comedian and actress Sarah Silverman at the IU Auditorium 7 p.m. March 24.

The show will be a part of Silverman’s national book tour to promote her new book, “The Bedwetter”. Tickets are $22 for students and $34 for the general public. 

Silverman, who began as a writer and occasional cast member on “Saturday Night Live,” was the star of her offbeat comedy TV series, “The Sarah Silverman Program,” which was canceled in 2010.

She has also been featured in films such as “Something about Mary” and “School of Rock.” She has had HBO comedy specials and her one-woman show “Jesus is Magic” became a film in 2005.

“The Bedwetter” is Silverman’s first book effort.

Tickets will be available at 10 a.m.  Friday at the IU Auditorium box office, which are eligible for Bursar billing.
