Gordon gears up for third motivational campus visit

Union Board did not hesitate to bring motivational speaker Jullien Gordon to campus Wednesday. Gordon’s “30 Day Do It” lecture will take place 7 p.m. in the Frangipani Room in the Indiana Memorial Union. It will be an interactive discussion about achieving goals and not procrastinating.

This will be Gordon’s third visit to IU after being asked by the Kelley School of Business to speak to students. Admission is free and open to the public.

Gordon is the founder and CEO of the Department of Motivated Vehicles, a development company that specializes in motivational speaking, teaching, workshops and publishing. Gordon is the author of four books: “The 8 Cylinders of Success,” “Good Excuse Goals,” “The Career Change Challenge” and “101 Things To Do Before You Graduate.”

In 2007, Gordon received two master’s degrees from Stanford University — his MBA and master’s in education. He is originally from Oakland, Calif., and currently resides in Brooklyn in New York.
