Man attacked leaving Kilroy's Sports Bar Wednesday

A 21-year-old male walking home from Kilroy’s Sports reported he was attacked and robbed by four unknown men.

The victim said he was walking east at 3:48 a.m. on 10th Street near the intersection of North Walnut Avenue, Bloomington Police Department Sgt. Jeff Canada said. Two friends were a few blocks behind.

The victim said four men came from the west and knocked him to the ground and started kicking him. One of the suspects stole his wallet, he said.

When his friends realized what was going on they chased the suspects into some neighborhoods on Washington Street, where they lost them.

The victim had severe swelling on his face.

He described all the men as white. One of them had khaki shorts and a black shirt. Another had a white shirt. He didn’t get a good look at the other suspects, Canada said.
