Remy Abell commits to IU

Eastern High School guard Remy Abell committed to the 2011 Indiana basketball class, according to the Louisville Courier-Journal.

The 6-foot-4 senior visited the IU campus Monday. Abell is a three-star recruit by Rivals.com.

Per the Journal:

“Indiana is not just getting one player, they are getting a guy that can play three different positions for them and can guard three different positions,” Abell’s AAU coach Jeff Davis said. “He’s only going to get better with his attitude and what kind of competitor he is. It’s a great situation for Indiana and for him.”

Indiana’s 2011 recruiting class currently ranks 27th in the nation.
