GLOWfest announces information about ticket refunds

GLOWfest announced Tuesday they have started the process of ticket refunds for this year’s canceled deadmau5 concert.

The tour company tweeted that electronic ticket refunds were posted.

The original concert was scheduled for Oct. 19 at Pic a Chic Farms and was canceled that night. After much coordination with the tour and local venues, an alternative show occurred at the Bluebird Nightclub the night of the 19th.

On its website, GLOWfest said a combination of weather conditions and safety concerns surrounding the use of electronic equipment led to the show’s cancelation. They also said they considered the incident at this summer’s Indiana State Fair when making the decision.

While the tickets for the show stated the concert would take place “rain or shine,” GLOWfest’s website said after investigating the possibility of still having the concert outdoors, “all options would pose too much of a potential health and safety risk.”

For those who purchased electronic tickets, the tour company’s website said refunds have been posted and should appear on account statements within three to five days.
Negotiations are still in progress for the refunding of hard tickets. GLOWfest said they will announce time and location details for hard tickets in the coming days.

Refunds will also be offered for bus tickets. Any questions regarding this process should be directed to Btown Trips’ website at www.btowntrips.com or emailed to info@collegetravelexperts.com.
