IU closes out NC State, 86-75

The IU men’s basketball team stayed undefeated on Wednesday night, beating NC State 86-75 in Raleigh, NC.

The Hoosiers (7-0) were led by a second-half outburst allowed IU to erase its’ one-point halftime deficit. IU was led by three players in double figures, including junior guard Jordan Hulls, who posted a game-high 20 points including a three-pointer to give IU a four-point lead with just over a minute remaining.

Freshman forward Cody Zeller chipped in 19 points while junior forward Christian Watford added 16 points and nine rebounds.

The win for the Hoosiers marked the first time that IU has won in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge in the Tom Crean era.
