IU dominates UMBC 89-47, improves to 12-0

The IU men's basketball team defeated UMBC 89-47 Thursday to remain undefeated on the season.

Junior forward Christian Watford led the Hoosiers with 22 points and 10 rebounds, while IU shot 9-of-13 from beyond the arc in the second half en route to tying last year's win total of 12.

IU Coach Tom Crean's squad held the Retrievers (1-10) to 32 percent shooting from the field and 3-of-15 from three-point territory.
