Gallery, lecture to be presented tonight on 'Art of Feng Shui'

Bill Land will be personalizing a public gallery tonight and will lecture from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Venue Fine Arts & Gifts gallery on “The Art of Feng Shui.” His lecture will educate attendees on the organization of daily space.

Land has served as the Senior Urban Planner for the city of Bloomington and also worked as the Planning Director for Brown County and Huntington, Ind. He began his work in the early 1990s, and his interest in Feng Shui followed his career in city design.

In 1993, Land founded the Lotus Tuan Institute in Nashville, Ind. He has now lectured more than 75 students on the art of spatial organization, and the Institute offers courses for college credit.  He is currently completing his “Essential Feng Shui for American Families” book for publication.

Land will speak from 5:30-7:30 p.m. tonight at the gallery. The event is free to all, and refreshments will be served.  The Venue Fine Arts & Gifts is located at 114 S. Grant St., and additional parking can be found at 4th and Grant streets.
