Todd Yeagley joins his legendary father, Jerry, in Indiana Soccer Hall of Fame

IU Coach Todd Yeagley was inducted into the Indiana Soccer Hall of Fame on
Saturday.

He was presented the award at the Hall of Fame banquet Feb. 25 at the Renaissance North Hotel in Carmel, Ind.

“I am honored to be selected into the Indiana Soccer Hall of Fame,” Yeagley said. “I was fortunate to have so many great coaches and teammates throughout my playing days who helped achieve this honor.”

Yeagley is no stranger to soccer circles in the state.

A high-school All-American out of Bloomington High School South, Yeagley was a four-year All-America honoree at IU.

After his IU career, Yeagley spent seven seasons in Major League Soccer with the Columbus Crew.

In 2002, Yeagley served as the assistant general manager for Columbus before returning to the Hoosiers as an assistant coach in 2003.

He was with the Hoosiers until 2009.

He returned to Bloomington to take over the Indiana program in December 2009.
