After a 3-2 victory against St. Louis in its first spring season competition this past weekend, the IU men’s soccer team will play its first home game of the spring slate against Bradley on Sunday at Jerry Yeagley Field.
In the team’s first action since November, when the Hoosiers lost in the Sweet 16 to eventual national champion North Carolina, and first competition since losing three seniors to the MLS draft, the Hoosiers won a back-and-forth match against the Billikens in Springfield, Ill.
Sophomore A.J. Corrado scored IU’s first goal and assisted on the second to freshman Kyle Sparks, but St. Louis tied the game at two goals in the 78th minute.
But just one minute later, junior and Bloomington native Caleb Konstanski dished in the game-winning goal, his first goal of the 2011-12 season.
Sunday’s game will be the first of the three-straight home matches for the Hoosiers during the next two weeks.
They will also face Indiana foe Butler and Lindsey Wilson College in
Bloomington.
The Hoosiers and the Braves will face off at 3 p.m.
