Estelle aims for Adele

It’s been four long years since the radio last bombarded listeners with the refreshing stylings of British singer and rapper Estelle’s album “Shine.”

Now she returns, minus a certain Mr. West, but continues to showcase her fondness for American men by pulling Chris Brown, Rick Ross and Trey Songz onboard.

Aptly titled “All of Me,” Estelle’s third studio album is soul-baring and addictively raw — not to be equated with vocal vulnerability. Playing with the big boys doesn’t intimidate this young lady as she manages to tap into Ross’ romantic side in the made-for-radio track “Break My Heart.”

Showing off strong rap verses in “Speak Ya Mind” and “The Life,” Estelle delves into human weaknesses, including breakups, infidelity and distrust. Redemption is a theme that connects the songs and some of the artists on this album, especially Brown, who jumps on “International.”

“All of me” is one to watch out for as Estelle goes all out to compete with fellow Brits such as Adele.
