Behind another balanced scoring performance, the IU basketball team will keep momentum on its side thanks to an 85-74 victory over Purdue (20-11, 10-8).
No. 18/20 IU (24-7, 11-7) had four starters in double figures and built a 15-point halftime lead that would never disappear.
During IU’s 49-point first half, the Hoosiers shot 20-of-30 from the field where as Purdue was just 12-of-33.
Junior Christian Watford led the way with 19 points and sophomore Will Sheehey added 16.
The Hoosiers will be the No. 5 seed in this week’s Big Ten Tournament in Indianapolis and will play Penn State at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday.
