Sports Business Association welcomes distinguished sports executives to campus

Saturday, the Kelley School of Business will house experts from the world of sports business in the first-ever sports business conference on IU’s campus.

The conference is organized by the Sports Business Association, with the intention to give students an opportunity to explore the business of sport and to network with both professionals and fellow students.

According to a release, the event will last for half the day and will involve panels talking about current topics and trends in the sports industry, including experts and executives from across the industry.

The event is free to attend, but those interested must get a ticket at sportsbiz.eventbrite.com prior to the event. The event is geared toward anyone looking to learn and greater understand the sports industry.

Guests who have confirmed include:

  • Lon Rosen – Executive Vice President, Magic Johnson Enterprises
  • Greg Shaheen - Interim Executive Vice President, Championships and Alliances, NCAA
  • Ben Sturner – Founder and CEO, Leverage Agency
