While the full Indiana men’s basketball 2012-13 schedule has yet to be released, the team now knows of one non-conference opponent it will play this upcoming season.
As part of the sixth annual Legends Classic, Indiana will take on Georgia at 5:30 p.m. on Nov. 19 in the first game of a semifinal doubleheader. Following the conclusion of the Indiana-Georgia, UCLA will battle Georgetown.
Both semifinal games and the championship game will take place at the brand new home of the Brooklyn Nets, the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y. The IU game will air on ESPNU and UCLA-Georgetown on ESPN2.
The semifinal game winners will face off Nov. 20. for the Legends Classic championship on ESPN, preceded by the consolation game at 7:30 p.m. on ESPNU.
In all, the four schools have combined for 119 trips to the NCAA Tournament and 17 national championships.
The complete 2012 Legends Classic bracket will be announced at a later date.
