Project prepares for live storytellers

The Bloomington Storytelling Project is a group that presents public storytelling events. These become material for WFHB’s community radio program “The Porch Swing.” The project will present a collaboration with American Student Radio and WIUX 8 p.m. Saturday at Max’s Place.

Community members who have applied to be storytellers will present stories live onstage.

Many people applied, so some will be recorded and played on the radio at a later date, according to the project’s Facebook page.

After the event, there group will sponsor an after-party featuring local musical duo Busman’s Holiday. The group consists of brothers Lewis and Addison Rogers.

Sixty-six people plan to attend the event, according to the Facebook page.
