Ghostface Killah to bring ruckus to Bluebird

The Wu is back.

World-famous hip-hop star Ghostface Killah will perform May 2 at The Bluebird Nightclub, as part of his “Twelve Reasons to Die Tour,” the venue announced Thursday.

Ghostface Killah, a leading member of the iconic Wu-Tang Clan hip-hop group, has contributed to numerous singles and the Def Jam Records label during his 20-plus year career. Renowned for his accelerated rapping rate, MTV included Ghostface on its 2006 “Greatest MCs of All Time” list.

The Staten Island, New York native recently collaborated on Kanye West’s “Cruel Summer,” as well as the critically-acclaimed soundtrack to Wu-Tang brethren RZA’s film
“The Man With the Iron Fists.”

Ghostface Killah will also perform with Adrian Younge, a hip-hop producer known for his “Venice Dawn” soundtrack.

Tickets for the event cost $20 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday They can be purchased through the Spirit of ’68 Promotions website, the Bluebird box office, Landlocked Music and all Ticketmaster locations.
