During the 2013 May commencement ceremonies, 18,828 students will be eligible to receive 18,009 IU degrees, as well as 1,286 Purdue University degrees awarded through the IU-Purdue University Indianapolis campus.
The graduates come from every county in Indiana, every state in the United States — including the District of Columbia — and 127 countries, according to a press
release.
IU-Bloomington will award 8,880 degrees to 8,590 students as it celebrates its 184th commencement in three ceremonies, one for graduate students and two for undergraduates.
A graduate ceremony is scheduled for 3 p.m. May 3 in Assembly Hall.
Undergraduate ceremonies will take place May 4, also in Assembly Hall, with a morning session starting at 10 a.m. and an afternoon session beginning at 3 p.m.
