Both Ivy Tech Community College campuses in Muncie, Ind., were evacuated Thursday afternoon after a caller threatened the campus.
The Delaware County Sheriff’s Department was not able to confirm the types of threats, but The Ball State Daily News at Ball State University said the threats were bomb and shooting threats.
Capt. George Sheridan, for the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office, said the call was received at 4:19 p.m. He also said students were evacuating the building when officers arrived.
The campuses reopened Thursday evening.
