A 19-year-old female reported on May 9 that she had been sexually assaulted at her west side residence in early April 2011, the Bloomington Police Department said.
The alleged victim was 17 at the time of the incident.
She told police that she had been assaulted by her roommate’s boyfriend. She was asleep in her room and was awoken by the suspect sexually assaulting her.
The case remains active as police continue the search for the now 25-year-old male suspect.
