IU adds pair of 2014 recruits

IU further bolstered its 2014 recruiting class Friday morning with a pair of commitments from lineman in the south.

Ocala, Fla. West Port offensive tackle Delroy Baker confirmed his choice by tweeting "OFFICIALLY COMMITTED TO INDIANA UNIVERSITY! GOING TO BE A HOOSIER!" shortly before 8 a.m. ET.

In becoming the third offensive lineman in the class, Baker turned down a slew of scholarship offers from traditional powerhouses in his home state. Miami, Florida State and Florida all offered.

The Gators were known to be the other finalist before Baker chose to be a Hoosier.

Baker is listed at 6-foot-6 and 275 pounds and will likely play tackle for IU. IU's other two offensive line pledges, Wes Martin and DeAndre Herron, are expected to be guards.

While Baker was the fifth member of the class to make his decision public, he was actually the sixth to commit. Augusta, Ga. Richmond Academy defensive end Willie Yarbary committed to the Hoosiers Wednesday evening.

His choice was first reported Friday morning by Matt Weaver of Peegs.com.

Yarbary stands 6-foot-2 and 270 pounds. He also had offers from Cincinnati, Middle Tennessee State and Troy.
