Crossroads Classic to continue through at least 2016

The annual Crossroads Classic event will continue at least through 2016, organizers announced Tuesday.

It is a two year extension on the previous agreement.

Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis will continue to host, while IU, Purdue, Butler and Notre Dame will continue to participate.

This year's edition will take place Dec. 14 and pit IU against Notre Dame and Purdue against Butler. The same matchups will repeat in 2015.
