Football lands second recruit of day Friday

IU now has hit double digits for recruits for the 2014 recruiting class after Jermane Conyers class committed Friday evening.

Conyers is a native of Rossville, Ga. and is the tenth recruit of Kevin Wilson’s 2014 recruiting class and second of the day.

He is 6-feet 3-inches, 290 pounds and ranked as a two-star recruit according to rivals.com.

Conyers is the fourth defensive linemen of the 2014 class, following up Michael Barwick, Willie Yarbary and Nick Carovillano, who also committed Friday. Yarbary is also a Georgia native.
