Bloomington police are investigating a bomb threat that prompted about 15 customers and employees to evacuate a pharmacy Friday evening. No explosives were found at the scene.
An unidentified suspect called CVS Pharmacy, 2701 E. Third St., at 5:11 p.m., Friday and said there was a bomb on the property, said Sgt. Ian Lovan of the Bloomington Police Department.
A bomb-sniffing K-9 from the IU Police Department assisted BPD when both agencies responded to the scene.
The K-9 checked the interior and exterior of the store and vehicles in the parking lot.
The store was opened about two hours after the incident, Lovan said.
